What inspired the creation of your brand and what story are you aiming to tell through your handbag designs?

PRITCH was born in 2013 and the inspiration behind the brand’s DNA has always been duality, duality of styles, duality of human nature, duality of design, duality of art and duality of all the things around us.  We craft seasonless investment pieces that transcend time and place. Our distinctive designs are characterized by their synergy of elegance and edge.

Can you walk me through the process of selecting materials for your handbags? How do you ensure they reflect the brand's commitment to quality and sustainability?

At PRITCH, our process of handbag material selection merges artistic vision with rigorous quality and sustainability considerations. Collaborating closely between design and sourcing, we prioritize materials that align with our luxury and durability standards. Thorough assessments and supplier collaborations ensure our materials meet stringent benchmarks, while transparency in our supply chain guarantees ethical and eco-conscious practices. Our leathers are sourced from family-run businesses and certified suppliers based predominantly in Italy’s Veneto, Tuscany, Lombardy and Campania regions — home to the best tanneries in the world.

A Commitment to Sustainability and Diversity

In today's world, sustainability and ethical production are paramount. How does your brand address these issues, and what steps do you take to ensure a responsible production process?

PRITCH’s vibrant multinational team, hailing from all corners of the globe, makes for a rich cultural and artistic dialogue that informs and nourishes the brand aesthetic. Within our little team of 14 we have 12 nationalities and the age ranges between 22 to 65.

At PRITCH we run a 0-waste policy, to maintain this we produce small runs based on customer demand and tend to introduce Limited Edition collections rather then overproduce our products. All our styles are designed in house in our London Atelier and made in family-run businesses in Italy.

We base our designs on customer’s stylistic preferences rather than current market trends. At PRITCH, we prioritise quality as the quintessential embodiment of timelessness, a standard we take pride in upholding.

Strategic Alliances

Are there any designers or brands you're particularly keen to collaborate with in the future? How do you see these partnerships benefiting your brand's image and reach?

At PRITCH we love, and strongly believe in collaborations and partnerships, when brand vision and images, clientele and positioning are aligned. In the past we collaborated with various companies in different markets, such as car manufacturers, travel, high jewellery and others. We are planning to continue collaborating with noncompeting brands in events and product design, as well as attract artists to create unique products in partnership with us. Our dream companies would be Haider Ackermann, Rick Owens, Rolex, Mustang, Chrome Hearts, Creed and others.

Where do you see your brand in the next five years? Are there any particular markets or product lines you're looking to explore further?

In the upcoming five years, I envision our brand, PRITCH, positioned as a global leader in luxury goods, marked by substantial growth in sales revenue and strategic expansion into pivotal markets. By meticulously identifying and tapping into these key markets, we aim to establish a strong international presence and capture a wider audience of discerning customers who appreciate our commitment to quality and the style of the brand. As we consistently deliver exceptional products that resonate with our clientele, we plan to expand our existing product offering as well as introduce more product lines over the years, such as knitwear, shoes, homeware and other.

Personal Touch

A Reflection of Personal Aesthetics

As the brand owner, how do your personal style and values reflect in the handbags you design? Are there any pieces that hold a special significance to you?

I have always liked a good quality bag with a simple, but structured shape, and an edgy twist to it. This is exactly what we are trying to achieve with the bags at PRITCH. I personally love the Claw Tote bag, to me it is the perfect work tote, it fits all I need, it has an edge and it just looks sharp and quite rock’n’roll.
